The old farmhouse in Hrífunes, about 180m2 or 1937ft2 and this is a two level house. This old house conveniently located in the south part of Iceland to see all the major sights. The house is perfectly located between two towns of Vík (39 km) and Kirkjubaejarklaustur (37 km) and its Accommodates 10 adults. With stocked kitchen and lots of room for a large family or a group of friends !

The house is fully licensed,certified by the municipal health authority,Fire Department and the Chief of Police.

The space

• Lower floor three bedrooms and 1,5 bathrooms.
• Spacious kitchen,large living room,TV and DVD movies.
• Bathroom with a shower,another bathroom without shower , and a laundry room with washer and a freezer.
• A large terrace with a BBQ ,chairs and table.
• A baby crib and a highchair can be provided for free.
• Kitchen is fully equipped,with dishes and glassware.
• In the kitchen there´s a fridge,dishwasher,oven , coffee machine,toaster,mixer,microwave and a 5 burner gas stove.
• In the laundry room is a washing machine,clothing rack and a freezer.
• There is a larger restroom with a WC,shower and a hairdryer…and a smaller restroom with only a WC.
• NOTE : There is only one shower in the house.

In Vík there is a petrol station,a grocery store,a wine store,,restaurants,post office/tourist information center,car service,outdoor swimming pool,medical care and the black beaches.
In Kirkjubaejarklaustur (35km) there´s a petrol station,a grocery store,a wine store,outdoor swimming pool,restaurants,Icelandic handcraft,tourist information center,a horse rental,car service and health care.The house is very well situated to visit all the main jewels in the south peninsula….

Other things to note
NOTICE ; A 4×4 wheel car/jeep is very necessary by winter (November-March) in Iceland….you never know how the weather will turn out each day during that time of year.
